So alpha CC can still match the environment of the game, but there's quite a difference between how the sims of a Maxis-Match CC user and an alpha CC user look. In my opinion, the sims aren't very realistic but the environment is. The line between Maxis-Match and alpha CC is definitely more blurred in Sims 3, but as you can see from the picture, Rita's eyes are similar to the cartoony look of Sims 4 (you can see this more clearly with littledica's conversion of Sims 3 eyes to Sims 4), and the skin is even smoother (compare that to the realistic textured skin in Sims Medieval). So I gave in to the more popular hair textures that at first I wasn't keen on, but now I've gotten used to them. To my dismay I found this wasn't possible as I couldn't find it on the internet! When I first started out hair replacement, I wanted the original maxis style hairs modded to smoother graphic quality. This won't replace any of them but will give you some extra options.įor a lot of people though, the next step is change the hair! Now, it's tricky when default replacing the in-game hairs, as you want to find a texture that has been reproduced many times. If you decide to keep the original hair texture you might want to keep the eyebrows how they are, or download some custom maxis-match eyebrows.

Looking at this picture compared to the previous one, I feel the eyebrows are much improved! One thing I do notice, is how it doesn't match the original hair textures. All I had to do was put them in my downloads folder, load up the game and there they were! Now I decided to download the default eyebrows from Vimpse, which means they replace the in-game versions.
